I forgot my password

If you have forgotten your password go to the page http://www.hexadance.com/forgot_password.

Enter the email you have used to open your account and click on “reset password”, and email contaning a reset link will be sent to you.

If it doesn’t work, go to the contact page www.hexadance.com/contact and write us an email containing your username, email, last & first name, birthday and/or any informations that will help us to make sure we fix the correct account

How can I change my email ?

Click on “Profile”

Click on “Change email”

Enter the email you would like to set as new email and login
You will receive an email to this new adress, the change will be effective once you’ll use the confim link in the message.

I can't find where to create an artist page, submit an event , etc... ??

This is normal as it is not a public feature, you must contact us and claim an access.

This is completely free, we simply don’t wannt anyone to handle any artists / bookingagency / label / venue, so all requests are handled by the hexadance team.

First you’ll need a basic user account ( signup )

Go to the contact page, use the appropriate email (artist, location, …) and tell us who you are, what kind of acces you wish to have.

Artists

How can I take control of my artist page ?

You cannot directly take control of an artist of our database or create a new one.
Each acces is controlled by the Hexadance team to make sure there are no duplicates or fan page.

If the artist exist already in our database, send us an email with giving us your Hexadance username and details to tell us who you are, and we’ll give you access to your artist page.

How can I add music on my page ?

Hexadance will not host your music files, but will make it easy for you to link your existing files.

As infolink
Go to the tools section, click on “edit profile”
at the bottom of the screen, click on “add an infolink”

an infolink can be anything you want, a link to a sharing site such as megaupload, or better, a direct link to an MP3 file on your servers, your set will then be displayed in a fancy player on your page.

Exporting from soundcloud
Hexadance main goal is to provide Event dates, an stay open to other services.
The best way to share music we found so far is soundcloud
this is an amazing website, open an account there (free accounts are available) then simply enter your soundcloud username on in your artist profile.

As soon as new music will be made available on soundcloud, it will be displayed on your artist page ! sweet isn’t it ?

Why can't I edit some of my events ?

As soon as an event has been approved by the Hexadance team or by the owner of the club where you’ll play, it is not possible for you to delete, or edit it.

If you need to send updates, or cancel an event in a club that is administrated by his owner, you will need to contact him direclty, using the “contact owners” links in the events list.

Locations

How can I manage my venue page ?

To handle your venue page, you must have a personal account (get it here www.hexadance.com/signup)

The send us an email to the “location” address, providing the following informations:

your username
your email address (if possible, an email from the club’s domain)
name of the location
How can I know if my venue already exists in your database ?

To figure out if your venue already exists in our database, got to the location page (www.hexadance.com/en/locations)
and start a search.

If you cann’t find your venue, send us an email containing the following informations:

Name of the venue
Website URL
Phone/Fax number
Email address of the venue

Type of venue

Club / Bar / Shop / Hall / Open-Air / Restaurant / Cinéma / Other

Adress :

Street 1
Country
Region / State
City
Zip code

As soon as your venue will be created and linked to your personal account, you will receive an email to notify you.

How can I manage the general details and the agenda of my venue ?

You must first login with a login and password associated to your venue, if you just registered you must contact us first to claim your ownership.

Once everything is setup, click on the “tools” button on the top of the navigation to reach the administration area.
